My boyfriend, currently living in Atlanta, is coming to visit me in Lexington; we're planning the perfect romantic weekend right here in the heart of Kentucky. He's flying in early Friday afternoon, and after I pick him up at the airport, we'll check in to the hotel. While there are lots of more modern choices down town, we've chosen the more traditional Campbell House; he promised me a suite.

I know he'll be tired, so we'll dress up a little and dine there at the hotel's steakhouse. The food's supposed to be fantastic, and I know he'll let me order whatever dessert I want.

After dinner we'll return to our room for a good night's rest and maybe a soak in the huge tub, then it's off to bed to rest up for the next morning.

Saturday will be full of sightseeing for him, showing him off for me. I can't let him skip the horse park, and we might even bet on a horse (one we pick together). And I know it's childish, but we'll have our picture taken by the metal statue of Ma ... more
