Hepcats Monday Night Swing Dance Classes - Next series: March 5th - April 2nd, 2012.
For all Hepcats classes no partner required, single dancers and couples welcome.
Instructors for these classes are Mike & Mary Richardson with assistance provided by members of the Rhythm Cats performance group.
Monday night classes:
> Beginner Class. Want to get started in swing dancing? This is the class for you! This class will get you up on the dance floor ASAP, looking cool and having fun!
Already know some swing dance? Move beyond "step, step, rock step" and take the challenge to learn Lindy Hop!
oo March 5th - April 2nd, 7:00-7:45 pm
oo April 16th - May 14th, 7:00-7:45 pm
> Intermediate Lindy Hop Class. Continue to build on what you learned in the beginner class! Expand your swing dance repertoire with more cool moves, footwork and patterns. If you've taken the Hepcats beginner class or you're familiar with Lindy Hop, you should take this class.
oo March 5th-April 2nd, 8:00-8:45 pm.
> The Big Apple. Your chance to learn the most famous Lindy Hop line dance of all - the Big Apple! The Big Apple was a national sensation in the 1930's & 40's and has some very cool and challenging moves and footwork. So bring your dancing shoes and be prepared for some cool, new stuff!

All Monday night classes take place at Adath Israel Temple, Multi-purpose Room,
124 N. Ashland Avenue, Lexington, KY.
How to Register:
1. On-Line using a credit card at this web site!
2. At any Hepcats Event: See Mike or Mary Richardson (we're normally near the DJ table, next to the Information Table when we're not dancing!).
3. By Mail: please note postmark deadlines for each individual class series. Click here to download a registration form.
4. Register on the first day of class. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign up. Cash or check accepted at the door.
